No. The Intimate Wash, Cooling Mist and Vaginal Moisturiser are all Vegan, however, the supplements are Vegetarian only.

Almost. All our packs are recyclable, with an exception of the pumps, and the cardboard is all FSC approved.

You can perform the test at any moment of the day; however, the first urine in the morning contains a large quantity of FSH and allows the best results to be obtained.

The results are accurate as long as the directions for use are carefully followed. Nevertheless, the result can be incorrect if the test is damp before performing the test. In case of unexpected or contradictory results, it is recommended to consult a gynaecologist, as some health problems can induce incorrect diagnosis.

The Flourish Menopause Test Kit is very accurate and has been used for more than 10 years by professionals in the field. Evaluation reports show an overall agreement of 92.8% with reference method.

The use of contraceptives can make the cycle irregular and therefore can modify the balance of hormones. Given this, it’s recommended to wait for two cycles after stopping the pill, before using the FSH test.

The NICE Guidelines on ‘Menopause: diagnosis and management’ advise that women should consider using an FSH test to diagnose menopause only:

in women aged 40 to 45 years with menopausal symptoms, including a change in their menstrual cycle; and/or
in women aged under 40 years in whom menopause is suspected.

They advise not to use an FSH test to diagnose menopause in women using combined oestrogen and progestogen contraception or high-dose progestogen.

Evening primrose oil is rich in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid involved in the production of hormone-like substances called prostaglandins. By increasing production of prostaglandins, is thought that Evening Primrose Oil can help to counter hormonal changes associated with menopause.

Prostaglandins are a group of lipids, also known as hormones. In women, prostaglandins assist in regulating the reproductive system. They can start labour and control ovulation.

Whilst we believe that the product is safe to take with HRT, we would always recommend that the customer check specifically with their GP or Doctor who is prescribing their medication just to be absolutely sure.

Yes. The supplements are suitable for Vegetarians.

No, they do not contain any artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

Evening Primrose Oil is a popular remedy that has been traditionally used for a number of years, to relieve symptoms associated with the menopause.

We are always looking at ways to innovate and enhance our product offering but as it stands, the Flourish supplements are suitable for Vegetarians, but not for Vegans. This is due to the presence of Vitamin D, a key ingredient that helps support the maintenance of normal bones.

Our Cooling Mist contains cutting edge technology, Frescolate X-Cool, to instantly cool skin once applied and keep the recipient cool for longer.

Frescolat X-Cool contains a menthol derivative that activates thermoreceptors (TRPM8 receptors) in the skin to generate sensory signals to the brain. Due to the instant and long-lasting action of the Frescolat X-Cool this can activate these receptors to instantly cool and ensure the recipient stays cool for up to 30 minutes after application.
